Example 1:

JPEG (.jpg) format with a resolution of 300dpi. Image size must be 900
pixels on the longest side. Each file must be identified sequentially using the
following format: last name_first initial #1 (or #2 or #3 to agree
with the information on the entry form)_painting title.jpg.

Note: It would be best for you to rename the files before uploading them to us.

Example 2:

Larger than 1400 pixels on the longest side (Preferably 1920 pixels). Save as baseline standard JPEG, under 2.0 MB, in RGB color space, preferably sRGB.

	Most art show entries ask that the image be cropped to eliminate borders and frames. You can upload images to us with borders (such as in this example) and we will crop the image to eliminate borders and frames.
	Some images, such as those shot at an angle, will need to be cropped using perspective correction. We look for these type of images and will correct the perspective whenever possible.
	From the examples above, this would be the result. Clean edges, with no critical image information lost.

Warning!

Art shows want to see your work, not an enhanced version. For that reason we can't correct images that are not obviously off color. The image to the left is an example of this. If you request correction on this type of image we have no idea what the artwork should look like or how to correct the file, and you run the risk of not being accepted into your show!

This is an example of an image that can be corrected. the photograph was taken with the wrong white balance, and the overall color is red-yellow.

The corrected image, with the distortion and color cast removed. If you ask for color correction please check the finished files to make sure they accurately represent your artwork.

Again, shows require that your digital submissions match your original artwork as close as possible.

Send all the files you need on the disk. Including image files, and any text, Word, Excel, PDF, etc. required for the entry you will be using the disk for.

You should make sure the files are named according to the requirements of the show entry. If you need us to rename the files for you, please include detailed notes in either the Conversion Instructions (Section 1 above) or in the Comments (Section 7 below.)
