Because we scan from many types of original materials,

our service is broken into 4 scanning types.

How to place an order.

Reference Scans -
35mm and Medium format volume scanning. Low prices.

Reference scan prices begin at 49 cents for 35mm, and 98 cents for medium format film.

35mm mounted slides, 35mm negatives (strips of 2 or more), or medium format positives or negatives up to 6x7cm.
Each image is pre scanned and corrected before final scanning.
Each original is blown with dry compressed air to remove major dust.
Digital ICE technology further reduces dust on the finished scans.
Add a 4x6 inch glossy print from each image for just 25 cents each!
Your materials will NEVER be sent out of the country.
(Yes, Albuquerque is in the United States!)
Burned to either CDR or DVD. Viewing and editing software included.
Thumbnail prints of all your images for quick reference.

Work Scans -
35mm slides or film strips, high quality professionally corrected scans.

Work Scan prices are based on quantity - more scans = lower price.

Nikon scanners for scanning 35mm slides to digital format

Professional scanning insures the highest level of quality images.
Custom film profiles produce the most accurate color scans.
Professional post processing to insure the best color possible.
Custom color correction if necessary to remove unwanted color cast or restore faded colors.
Cropped to the image area and rotated to the correct orientation.
Files are burned to either CD or DVD.
Thumbnail prints of all your images for quick reference.
Custom file naming is available on request at no extra charge.

Pro Scans -
35mm up to 4x5" film, high resolution, highest quality Imacon scans.

Imacon 949 film scanner for scanning medium and large format transparencies and negatives

All resolutions are optical, no interpolated images.
No glass, so no extra surfaces to distort the scanned image, and no Newton rings on the scans.
Astounding natural image sharpness, corner to corner.
Highest quality CCD gives deep dynamic range.
Custom built ICC profiles for most film types to provide accurate color with minimal fine tuning after the scan.
Each scan is inspected at 100% and major dust is removed.
Fine retouching is available, but not usually necessary.
Finished scans are burned to either CD or DVD.
Thumbnail prints are included with every job.

Flat Scans -
Prints, X-rays or other originals up to 12 x 18 inches.

Prices for Type 4 scans are based on type of material being scanned.

Scans from prints up to 12x18, full size X-rays, and MRIs.
Scans up to 100Mb to retain maximum detail.
The 4.0 dynamic range will retain faint details in most X-rays and MRIs.
Files are burned to either CD or DVD as you request.
Thumbnail prints are provided for all scans so you can quickly identify the image you need.
Custom file naming is available on request at no extra charge.
